As the longest-running youth sports organization in Canandaigua, our program serves hundreds of local families each year. Our dedicated board plays a crucial role in shaping the future of our program, and we are excited to welcome new members who share our commitment. Whether you're a baseball enthusiast, softball aficionado, or simply someone who wants to make a difference in the lives of our youth, there's a place for you on our board.
We are currently looking for volunteers, including the following positions:
- Vice President: The Vice President supports the President in their duties and takes charge in their absence, helping to manage the program's day-to-day operations.
- League Commissioner: The League Commissioner organizes and manages the various baseball leagues within the program, overseeing scheduling, team assignments, and game coordination.
- Umpire Coordinator: The Umpire Coordinator recruits and schedules umpires for games, ensuring fair play and adherence to league rules.
- Fund-Raising/Sponsorships Coordinator: The Fund-Raising/Sponsorships Coordinator focuses on securing financial support for the program through sponsorships, donations, and fundraising events.
- Tournament Coordinator: The Tournament Coordinator organizes and manages baseball tournament, ensuring a competitive and enjoyable experience for participating teams and players.
- Marketing Coordinator: The Marketing & Communications Coordinator manages the league's website and social media accounts, posting important league-related information, updates, photos and videos throughout the season.
Even if you're unable to commit to coaching a team, joining the board allows you to contribute your skills, ideas, and passion to help us continue providing a fantastic sports experience for our community's children. We meet monthly during the baseball season and 2-3 times throughout the rest of the year.
