Canandaigua Junior Baseball & Softball follows all applicable New York State guidelines and requirements as related to preventing the spread of COVID-19. Due to New York's high vaccination rate, as of June 15 2021 there are currently no applicable guidelines or restrictions from the state.

In the absence of any formal requirements, CJB will continue to do our part. Players, coaches, spectators, or volunteers should STAY HOME with any symptoms of COVID-19. Equipment should not be shared, and umpires may choose to position themselves behind the pitcher.

While no formal mask mandate exists, CJB fully supports anyone who chooses to maintain social distancing and/or wear a mask when it is not possible to maintain social distance. And as always all participants are encouraged to limit physical contact and wash/sanitize hands frequently.

And should the need arise, CJB will continue to work with Ontario County Public Health for any COVID-positive cases. OCPH will determine and communicate any necessary quarantine protocols; CJB will assist in any applicable manner.
