Dear Canandaigua Junior Baseball & Softball Families, Players, and Coaches,
We are thrilled to announce the addition of Bradley Cook as our new Director of Player Development and Travel Coordinator. Coach Cook brings an impressive track record and a passion for developing young athletes. He will oversee our travel program, focusing on enhancing players' skills, fostering a love of the game, and promoting competitive gameplay at every level of travel baseball.
Coach Cook currently serves as the Head Coach for Baseball at Hobart College and has a storied career that includes:
- Winning the Cape Cod League Championship as Pitching Coach for the Bourne Braves in 2023
- Coaching at Division 1 UMass-Lowell (2019-2021) and NJCAA Division 1 Polk State College (2011-2018)
- Playing professionally for the Elmira Pioneers and at Division 1 Marist College
- Coaching 11 players selected in the MLB Draft, including 3 Major League players
Coach Cook’s coaching philosophy centers on building a culture of mutual trust through humor, honesty, and fatherly love. He believes in challenging players because he cares and coaching from the heart to help them reach their highest potential. His commitment to toughening athletes mentally and physically ensures they are prepared for both the game and life.
